Lower Paleozoic fault-caprock assemblage in Maigaiti slope of the Tarim Basin and periphery area and its controlling oil-gas effect

摘要:

麦 盖提斜坡是塔里木盆地重要的油气富集区带,石油地质条件优越。根据油气输导断裂与盖层时空匹配及油气分布之间的关系,采用叠合分析方法对麦盖提斜坡及周缘地区断-盖组合类型及对油气聚集与分布的控制作用进行了研究。结果表明,麦盖提斜坡及周缘地区断-盖组合主要有断穿错开型、断穿对接型和未穿型3种类型。断穿错开型组合断距大,盐层错开不对接,油气向上具有持续式运聚特征,运聚效率高,利于盐上油气富集;断穿对接型具有间歇式油气运聚特征,盐上、盐间、盐下均有可能存在油气富集;未穿型断-盖组合油气无法突破盐层向上运移,利于盐下油气聚集。不同的断-盖组合关系对油气勘探方向的选择具有重要的指导 意义。

Abstract:

Maigaiti slope is an important hydrocarbon enrichment zone in the Tarim Basin with superior petroleum geological conditions. According to the relationship between oil and gas transporting faults and the space and time matching of caprock as well as hydrocarbon distribution, the fault-caprock association type in Maigaiti slope and peripheral areas and its controlling effect on oil-gas accumulation and distribution were studied using the overlay analysis method. The results show that there are mainly 3 types of fault-caprock assemblages in Maigaiti slope and peripheral areas:penetrating faults staggered type, penetrating faults joint type and unpenetrated type. The first type is characterized by large fault displacement as well as staggered and disconnected salt beds. Upwardly, hydrocarbon is continuously migrated and accumulated, showing high migration and accumulation efficiency. It is favorable for oil and gas enrichment above salt beds. The second type is characterized by intermittent hydrocarbon migration and accumulation. Oil and gas enrichment may occur above, between and below salt beds. Thirdly, for the unpenetrated fault-caprock assemblage, hydrocarbon cannot break through salt beds and migrate upward, which is favorable for oil-gas accumulation below salt beds. Various fault-caprock assemblages have important guiding significance for selection of oil and gas exploration orientation.
