钻井液连续压力波差分相移键控信号的传输特性分析

Analysis on transmission characteristics of differential phase shift keying signal of continuous pressure wave in drilling fluid channel

摘要: 对随钻测量旋转阀的控制进行了逻辑分析,利用编码逻辑控制信号的积分运算及傅里叶正、逆变换,得到差分相移键控(DPSK)调制信号的函数表达式。根据通信原理,用调制信号控制载波相移构成DPSK信号的数学模型,分析了DPSK信号的频谱特性。对于水基钻井液,根据钻柱压力剖面将钻柱沿垂直方向划分为多个井段,通过对各个井段传递函数的分段描述,得到信号沿垂直钻柱分布的数值解。分析了信号传输距离、钻柱内径、载波频率、钻井液黏度及含气率对信号传输的影响,并对数值计算结果进行了分析。数值计算表明,钻井液黏度和含气率对信号传输的影响最大。对DPSK压力信号的井筒传输特性进行了研究,利用传输特性可以分析频带传输信号的传输效率和失真度以及钻井液参数对信号传输的影响。

Abstract: The logical analysis on the control process of a rotary valve in a continuous-wave telemetry of measurement while drilling was carried out.The encoded logical control function was built,and a phase shift function of the modulation signal expression was obtained from the integral operation of the encoded logical control function.According to the principles of signal communication,the phase shift function was used to modulate the carrier phase to produce differential phase shift keying (DPSK) signal.The mathematic model for DPSK pressure signal was built,and the signal frequency spectrum was analyzed with the discrete Fourier transform of DPSK signal.The drilling string in a vertical well using water-based drilling fluid was divided into some sections along the vertical direction in accordance with well-bore pressure distribution.The transferring functions of all the sections were described,and the numerical expression of the signal along the vertical drilling string was obtained.The influences of propagation distance of signal,internal diameter of drilling string,carrier frequency,viscosity of drilling fluids and air voids on the signal amplitude were analyzed.The numerical calculation result shows that the viscosity and air voids of drilling fluid have notable influences on the transmission of DPSK signal.The transmission characteristics of DPSK pressure signal can be used to analyze the transmission efficiency and distortion of pressure signal and the influence of parameters of drilling fluids on the frequency-band transmission signal.
