Abstract: Some contributions to oil and gas geology made; by Prof. Zhang Wenyou, have been summarized in this paper, as follows, (1)The alternate sediments of marine and continexital facies are the best petroliferous source beds. (2) Agenetic model of combustible organic mineral deposits (coal, oil shale, oil and gas, etc.) has been established. (3) The role of geothermal gradient in the formation of combustible orgenic mineral deposits has laeen discussed. (4)The relationship betweep compaction and migration of oil and ga s has been pointed out. (5) Protogenous basin, synergenetic basin and post structural basin must be distinguished correctly during forecast of prospects of oil and gas field. (6) The basement faults and or basement fault-blocks govern the formation of oil and gas pools. (7) The saw-tooth shaped fractur es on an anticline ecanta-ol the foa-mation of fractured oil and gas pools. (8) A genetic model of mineral deposits in a intracontinental, rift has been presented. (9) Regarding to the anticlinical oil and gas pools, the low anticlines in a wide syncline fthe uplifts in a depression),tnay be the best location of productive ail and gas fields (10) "Delineation of the depression and its boundaries" and "delineation of the depression and uplift a successful guiding principle for oil anal gas prospecting, a new genetic theory of combustible organic mineral deposits, has been sumarized. (11) The petroliferous basins in China possess an obvious fault-block tectonic pattern. (12) Different fault patterns may be helpful to the formation of oil anei gas fields. (13) Several oil and gas fields in thrmst zones have been predicted, and demonstrated by geological survey. (14) Others. Based on the above mentioned pointviews, the theory of fault-block tectonics has suggested by Prof. Zhang resolved some fundamental problems in geological prospecting, advenced the oil and gas geology, and in turn, it has been enriched by new ideas and achievements.

摘要: 张文佑教授对油气田地质学的贡献可总结为:(1)海陆交互相沉积是最好的生油层,(2)煤、油页岩、石油和天然气等可燃性有机矿产的成矿模式;(3)地热梯度在可燃性有机矿产形成中的作用;(4)压实作用与油气运移;(5)正确区分前构造期盆地、同构造期盆地和后构造期盆地,(6)基底断裂(块)对油气藏的控制,(7)裂缝型油气藏;(8)裂谷成矿模式3 (9)背斜油气藏;(10)“定凹探边”和“定凹探隆”,也可认为它是以上各点的综合;(11)断块构造格局及其对中国的生油盆地和油气田的控制,(12)有利油气田形成的断裂活动方式;(13)关于逆冲断层带的油气田,(14)其它。张文佑教授在长期实践中解决了油气田勘探的若干基础地质问题,成功地预测了一些油气田;同时,这些成果又丰富和充实了他开创的断裂体系和断块大地构造学说。
