Abstract: Calculation of distance between gas compressor stations on gas transmission pipelines is discussed. Based on the equation of gas transmisson capacity, the distance equation used for various pipeline sections between two gas compressor stations under equivalent and inequivalent flow conditions is derived. This method of calculation is applicable in planning the distribution of compressor stations.
