Abstract: Large sections of rock salt and shaly intercalation as well as several salt water horizons with high pressure and low permeability have been encountered while penetrating through Quaternary loess and gravel beds to Tertiary rocks.Core analyses reveal that plastic deformation of rock salt and shale and expansion of gypsum are the main causes of borehole complications.In the light of all these,the mechanism relating to stabilization of shaly well bores and preventive measures against caving are discussed.

摘要: 本文介绍了泥页岩成岩机理、新疆库车地区泥页岩层分析结果和井壁稳定问题,以及井壁稳定的机理和加强井壁稳定的方法,列举了油田应用实例。
