Abstract: Classification of sedimentary basins is akin to the purpose of investigation. So, it varies a lot. Our chief interest is laid mainly upon the kind of sedime ntary deposits that are relevant to the genetic history of sedimentary basins. To meet this end, we have firstly differentiated the temporal sequence relationship between sedimentation and basin-forming, and secondly given due consideration to the genetic processes of sedimentary basins. Our scheme of classification is roughly as follows: A. Antecedent Basins: A1. Subaerial antecedent basins (fig, 2); A2. Subaqueous antecedent basins (fig. 3); B. Growth (or syndepositional) basins: B1. Flexuring growth basins (fig, 4); (a) Thin crust flexuring basins; (1) Lavatic basin; (2) Eugeosynclinal basin (antecedent basin in its early stage of development); (b) Thick crust flexuring basins; (1) Platform basin; (2) Parageosynclinal basin; (3) Miogeosynclinal bains; B2. Fault growth basins (fig. 5): (a) One-side fault growth basin; (b) Two-side fault growth basin; C. Secondary Basins: C1. Fault-subsided basin (fig. 6); C2. Remnant synclinal basin (fig. 7); C3. Intermontane basin (fig. 8); The role of tectonics and the temporal sequence of development and evolution of various sedimentary basins are discussed in this paper. And the direct driving force of basin-forming were thought to be in some way connected with local variation and displacement of subcrustal materials.
摘要: 持续地接受沉积的地区称为沉积盆地。沉积盆地的形成是剥蚀与沉积的对立统一;有赖于蚀积平衡面的不断变动。没有蚀源区的上升,就没有剥蚀的持续;没有沉积区的下陷,就没有沉积的持续(图1)。剥蚀与沉积的空间分异反映了地壳活动的地理景观。剥蚀与沉积的时间分异代表了地壳演化的地史变异。
