Abstract:

According to the petroleum resource assessment newly finished in Sichuan Basin,there are 426 million tons of total oil geological resources,357 million tons of remaining oil geological resources,5350 billion cubic meters of total gas geological resources and 4630 billion cubic meters of remaining gas geological resources in Sichuan Basin. It is suggested that the proven rate of petroleum resources is very low in Sichuan Basin with huge amounts of petroleum resources undiscovered. A tremendous potential for oil and gas resources exploration still exists in Sichuan Basin. Several major strategic fields for oil and gas exploration are as follows:①The Lower Triassic Feixianguan Formation oolite gas reservoir in the east of Sichuan Basin; ②The Carboniferous gas reservoir in the east of Sichuan Basin; ③The gas reservoirs in the Upper Triassic and Jurassic sandstones in the west of Sichuan Basin; ④The Triassic gas reservoir and the Jurassic oil reservoir in the central of Sichuan Basin; ⑤The Lower Triassic Jialingjiang Formation grainstone gas reservoir in the east of Sichuan Basin. In addition,6 strategic taking-over exploration areas were also presented.

2002年结束的新一轮油气资源评价结果表明,四川盆地石油总地质资源量为4.26×10⁸t,剩余地质资源量为3.57×10⁸t;天然气总地质资源量为5.35×10¹²m³,剩余地质资源量为4.63×10¹²m³.这说明四川盆地油气资源探明率低,剩余资源丰富,仍具有巨大的勘探潜力.明确提出以下5个战略重点勘探领域:①川东飞仙关组鲕滩气藏;②川东石炭系;③川西上三叠统和侏罗系砂岩气藏;④川中三叠系和侏罗系;⑤川东下三叠统嘉陵江组粒屑滩气藏.此外,还提出了6个战略接替勘探领域.
