Abstract: A new definition of internal surface crack shape in spherical shells was proposed.Using frozen stress photo-elastic method,experimental studies were made of the Stress Intensity Magnification Factor(Ms)for internal surface crack in pressurised thin spherical shells with ratios of wall thickness to inner diameter W/Ri=0.10,0.078,0.067.The variation of Ms with shape a/c anddepth a/W along the crack periphery was obtained.The influence of the dualcurvature of spherical shell on Ms was also studied.An empirical formula of curvature correction factor was presented.

摘要: 本文提出了一种新的球形容器内表面裂纹的定义方法.用光弹性法对壁率为W/R1=0.100,0.078,0.067的球形容器内表面裂纹进行了较大量的实验研究;得到了应力强度修正因子M沿裂纹前沿及随裂纹深度a/W,形状a/c和壁率W/R1的变化规律;研究了曲率对Mn的影响;提出了一个曲率修正系数的经验计算式.
