CALCULATION OF OIL-WATER-GAS RELATIVE PERMEABIUTY CURVES ACCORDING TO PORE SIZE PROBABIUTY DISTRIBUTION

Abstract: In this paper a flow model has been suggested for the incompressible and immiscible flow of oil-water-gas in porous media. It is assumed that only the wetting phase-water, flows through the pore channels of radii ranging from O.O to t1a (t1≤1), both water and the intermediate wetting phase-oil flow through those of radii from t1a to a, only oil flows through those of radii from a to t2b (t2≤1), oil and the non-wetting phase-gas flow simultaneously through those of radii from t2b to b and only gas flows through those of radii from b to ∞. A bask method for calculating oilwater-gas relative permeability curves has been set up by using the effective medium theory. A corresponding computer software EMTKR-3 has been developed to enable the calculation of relative permeability curves for any type of probability distribution of the pore size. The effects of the concurrent flow of water and oil, the concurrent flow of oil and gas and the viscosity ratio of oil and water on the relative permeability curves are studied. The results show that the relative permeability of water or gas is only a function of its saturation, while that of oil is a function of its saturation, and the saturation of another phase (water or gas). Given fixed saturations, the relative permeability of oil or gas increases with the viscosity ratio of oil water or gas oil, whereas that of water is independent of this ratio.

摘要: 利用等效介质理论的基本原理,对油气水三相在多孔介质中的不可压缩、非混相流动。根据多孔介质中孔隙的概率分布建立了一套计算油气水三相相对渗透率(KR)曲线的基本方法。并且,编制了相应的计算软件EMTKR-3。应用该软件可以对任意类型的孔隙概率分布函数进行油气水三相等值KR曲线的计算。同时,研究了油水两相同渗、油气两相同渗、油水粘度比等因素对三相渗流条件下等值KR曲线的影响。结果表明:在渠道流态条件下,强湿相和强非湿相的相对渗透率只是其本身饱和度的函数,而中间润湿相的相对渗透率是两相饱和度的函数。
