Abstract: Five problems concerning the economic benefit of thermal insulaf ion in petroleum industry are discussed. The costs per unit thermal IHe sistance should be compared in choosing an insulation material and the overall cost of outlay of insulation should be compared in planning insulation. An investigation on low-cost and highly effective foam insulation materials should be done to replace expensive insulation materials used at present. Structures with good and stable insulation property should be developed to reduce the cost. The factors affecting the insulation results should be studied to make optimum insulation design. When a project is completed, insulation test should be made to evaluate the design, the quality of construction and the actual economic benefit.

摘要： 本文讨论了提高保温经济效益的五个问题。提出在进行保温材料选择时,宜比较单位热阻价格;在选定保温方案时,宜用综合费用比较法进行经济性分析;建议研究应用廉价高效的保温材料,以降低保温工程造价;推行优化设计,以提高保温工程的总体效益;在保温工程峻工验收时,要测试评价,保证工程的实际保温效果。
