Factors for controlling lithologic oil pool formation and exploration prospects in southern Songliao Basin

松辽盆地南部岩性油藏成藏要素及勘探方向

Abstract: There are three main controlling factors for forming a large area of lithologic oil pool in the southern Songliao Basin.The sandstone and mudstone were developed alternatively in the delta front belts and controlled the overall oil-bearing area.The north-north-west directional faults vertical to the sandstone elongation direction provided the effective lateral plugging condition,whereas many lacustrine mudstones formed during water invasion stage provided the good direct cap-rocks.Those are the essential conditions for oil-bearing area.Three delta front belts in west,south-west and south-east directions will be the main exploration targets for finding wide-area lithologic oil pools and also represent the actual domain to obtain petroleum reserves in recent period.

摘要: 松辽盆地南部大面积岩性油藏的形成主要受控于三大地质要素.三角洲前缘相带中砂岩、泥岩地层交互发育,控制着岩性油藏总体含油范围;与砂体分布方向近于垂直相交的北北西向断层为岩性成藏提供了有效的侧向封堵条件;湖侵过程中形成的多套湖相泥岩提供了重要的直接盖层,是形成大面积含油的必要条件.西部、西南、东南3个大三角洲的前缘相带是下一步寻找大面积岩性油藏的主攻方向,也是近期寻找地质储量的现实领域.
