A method of generating angle gathers by reverse time migration based on angle domain Fourier transform

摘要: 复杂地质构造条件下,介质横向非均匀强,地震波场存在严重交叠,常规方法难以准确识别不同波场分量的传播方向,影响角道集的提取效果。为了克服该问题,提出一种通过上、下行波场分离,同时利用角度域窗口傅里叶变换进行交叠波场分离获得每一个角度的切片,再应用Poynting矢量法计算对应波场分量传播方向的角道集生成方法。该方法无需划分空间窗口,具有较高的计算效率。通过数值模型验证了该方法提取角道集的有效性,相比常规的Poynting矢量法提取结果,地震波的振幅更加保真,信噪比更高。将该方法应用于海上实际资料,获得了理想的角道集数据,为地震属性分析、储层反演提供了高质量的叠前道集。

Abstract: The lateral heterogeneity of media is strong in complex geological conditions, and there exists severe overlap in seismic wave fields. Conventional methods are difficult to accurately identify the propagation direction of different wave-field components, thus affecting the extraction effect of angle gathers. To overcome this defect, a method based on upgoing-and-downgoing-wave separation has been proposed to generate angle gathers has been proposed, in which the angle-domain window Fourier transform is used to separate overlapping wave fields, and the Poynting vector method is then applied to each angle slice obtained from the decomposition to calculate the propagation direction of the corresponding wave field component. The new method does not require spatial-window partitioning and has relatively high computational efficiency. Angle gathers extracted by this method have been validated through numerical models. Compared with conventional Poynting vector method, the new method yields more realistic amplitude and higher signal-to-noise ratio. In the application example of offshore seismic data, ideal angular gathers were obtained, providing high-quality pre-stack gathers for seismic attribute analysis and reservoir inversion.
