Abstract: Based on the analyses of the results of numerical solution,it is proposed to take R_a^D/R_a^S0.85 as a norm to disqualify all undesirable informations,where R_a^D and R_a^S are the apparent resistivities for the deep and shallow laterlogs of the three-electrode system respectively.
