摘要: 本文阐述了石油地质学是地质学中一门独立的科学,其中油田开发地质学也在近三十年来形成了一门专门的应用科学.文中对油田开发地质学的范畴及其主要内容——油藏研究,作了简明扼要的论述.

Abstract: As a branch of geology,petroleum geology has grown up to be an independent science over the last several decades,and thanks to the wide application of secondary and tertiary recovery methods,oil field development geology has rapidly become a special applied science.Oil field development,which was simply "drilling plus production"with the well as the unit of production in the initial stage,has now evolved into one with the reservoir as the unit.Reservoir study and development of oil field based on reservoir characteristics have greatly enhanced the growth of oil field development geology.In the context of oil field development,reservoir study includes the following as its main subjects:(1) reservoir distribution-study of its discontinuity;(2) interconnected porous units-study of macroscopic heterogeneity;(3) fluid distributionstudy of distribution of oil,gas and water in interconnected porous units;(4) pore distribution-study of microscopic heterogeneity in the reservoir;(5) study of reservoir energy;and(6)study of reservoir variability during the process of its exploitation.Knowledge of the reservoir as a whole is essential to the planning of its development,taking into consideration of all aspects areally and vertically as well as its development by stages.Method of development appropriate to its characteristics is to be selected.Artificial displacement methods shall take into consideration the choice of displacement agents,displacement direction and displacement mode.
