Turbidity system in the third section of Shahejie Formation of Dongying Sag and its implications on petroleum prospecting

摘要: 东营凹陷沙河街组三段沉积中发育有大量的浊积砂体,它们构成了完整的浊积岩体系。在大量分析法积砂体岩相、地震相及测井相特征的基础上,对浊积砂体的时空分布特征和影响浊积砂体发育因素进行了研究。结果表明,浊积砂体的发育受多种因素的影响,主要包括沉积物物源的供应、洼陷带的开阔程度和沉积古地形的特征、水动力条件以及三角洲的规模和建设性、沉积盆地的沉降速率以及构造活动,主导因素的不同可以导致不同类型浊积砂体的形成。简要讨论了浊积砂体的沉积模式和油气勘探意义。

Abstract: There are a lot of turbid sand bodies in the third section of the Shahejie Formation in Dongying Sag. Those turbid sand bodies composed an integrated turbidity system. The characteristics of lithofacies,seismic facies and electrofacies of the sand bodies were analyzed. The distribution characteristics and the factors affecting the development of the sand bodies were investigated. The results show that the development of sand bodies were mainly controlled by many factors including the supply of sediments, openness of the sag, palaeo-topography features, hydrodynamic conditions, scale and constructivity of delta, sedimentation rate of the depositional basin, and tectonic activity. Different types of turbid sand bodies could be formed due to the variation of main controlling factors. The sedimentary models for turbid sand bodies in Shahejie Formation were proposed, and their bearing on oil and gas prospecting were discussed.
