利用模型正演优选地震属性进行储层预测

Reservoir characterization using seismic attributes optimized with rock physics modeling

摘要: 利用地震属性预测储层会产生不确定性,为此提出了利用岩心、测井和叠后地震属性预测储层的新方法。该方法是以岩心物性参数和岩石物理性质正演模拟为基础,分析岩石物性变化引起的地震响应特征变化,利用优选的地震属性进行储层预测。这套技术以正演为主,正、反演相结合,减少了预测结果的多解性,提高了用属性预测储层的准确性。该方法操作步骤包括横波速度预测、流体替换、属性优选、属性分类和储层预测等。用该方法预测了砂体分布及含油级别,其结果与钻井结果一致,取得了满意的效果。

Abstract: There is an uncertainty in the reservoir prediction based on seismic attributes. A new method for characterizing reservoir using core, well log and post-stack seismic attributes was presented. This method relies on the rock physics modeling and analysis on the relationship between seismic responses and variation of rock properties using optimized seismic attributes. This technique based on the seismic and lithologic forward modeling and inversion can eliminate the ambiguity of seismic prediction and improve the validity of prediction with reservoir characteristics significantly. The prediction method includes five sequential steps of shear wave velocity estimation, fluid substitution, attribute optimization, attribute classification and reservoir prediction. This method has been applied to predict sandstone distribution and bydrocarbon accumulation based on field data. The result is consistent with drilling result in the test area.
