Abstract: Taking the idea of‘Digital Earth' as reference,the digital oilfield-applied system made full use of the most advanced tehcnologies including network, database, remote sensing and medium storage technologies to collect the natural and humane information of oilfield.It was integrated with petroleum exploration and development system,surface engineering system and geographical information system to realize the digital,netwrok and standard management of all text,figure,various production data and engineering data.Application of this system in Huabei Oilfield has provided all-weather service and improved the technical quality of engineers and technicians.At the same time,the management level of policymakers,including the fields of plan and design, production organization and technology management,has been greatly raised.The remarkable economic and social benefits have been achieved.
