预弯曲连续油管及其疲劳寿命预测

Pre-bending coiled tubing and its fatigue life prediction

摘要:

介绍了一种提高连续油管疲劳寿命的新技术——预弯曲连续油管技术,对预弯曲连续油管进行了受力分析和强度校核,分析了现场作业过程中预弯曲连续油管应力循环特征。在对称循环和脉动循环下的疲劳实验数据基础上,用拟合法和插值法建立了任意循环下预弯曲连续油管的疲劳寿命预测模型,简单对比了预弯曲连续油管和直连续油管的疲劳寿命。初步计算表明:预弯曲连续油管技术可以成倍地提高连续油管的疲劳寿命。

Abstract:

Coiled tubing is widely used in oil drilling and production operations, however, the extremely strong stress variation of coiled tubing during processes of pulling out, rolling in the reel and passing through the gooseneck make coiled tubing fatigue easily. Thus, it is of great importance to increase the coiled-tubing fatigue life. We introduced a new technique capable of improving the fatigue life of coiled tubing, i.e. the pre-bending coiled tubing technique, made a mechanical analysis and strength check of the pre-bending coiled tubing, and characterized its stress cycling in field operations. Based on data of fatigue tests under the symmetric and pulsating cycles, we established a prediction model of the pre-bending coiled-tubing fatigue life under an arbitrary cycle with fitting and interpolation methods, and simply compared the fatigue life of the pre-bending coiled tubing with the conventional straight coiled tubing. Preliminary calculations showed that the fatigue life of coiled tubing would be multiplied several times by applying the pre-bending coiled tubing technique.
