摘要: 通过对塔里木盆地阿尔塔什剖面白垩—第三系界线事件的标志研究表明,存在着铱异常和伴生的微量元素及稀土元素异常,这是灾变事件的地球化学标志,据此可划分白垩—第三系界线,同时可将界线置于吐依洛克组底面上约1.42m处.

Abstract: A Study of the Cretaceous-Tertiary boundary layers in the Altax section,Tarim basin,China,has resulted in iridium anomaly and associated trace elemnt and rare earth elementanomalies,which may be served as geochemical markers of a catastrophic event.Based on thebove-mentioned evidences the Cretaceous-Tertiary boundary in the Altax section can beplaced at a position 1.4m above the base of Tuilok Formation in this region.
