中石油深层煤岩气钻完井工程技术现状及展望

Abstract: China’s energy resource endowment is dominated by coal. and the total reserves of coal-rock gas at depths exceeding 2 000 meters are estimated to exceed 40.17 trillion cubic meters (40.17×1012m3). Although China boasts abundant coalbed methane (CBM)resources, deep coal-rock gas shows significant geological differences compared to shallow and mid-depth coalbed methane, characterized by greater reservoir depth, coexistence of free gas and adsorbed gas, and well-developed cleat systems, posing multiple challenges to drilling and completion technologies. This paper reviews the core technical advancements implemented by CNPC in deep coal-rock gas drilling and completion engineering in recent years, and provides a systematic analysis of field application performance. CNPC has preliminarily established a dominant development model of "horizontal well+large-scale fracturing" for deep coal-rock gas. However, critical challenges confronting deep coal-rock gas well construction include inadequate fundamental research, low drilling success rate in high-quality reservoirs, limited application of one-trip drilling, and severe wellbore instability in extended lateral sections. According to the large-scale development trend of deep coal-rock gas, the following strategic recommendations are proposed:Focusing on practical production requirements and adhering to the principle of geology-engineering integration, it is essential to strengthen fundamental theoretical research and develop innovative and efficient horizontal well drilling and completion technologies for deep coal-rock gas. Focus should be directed toward developing engineering technologies and equipment tailored to the characteristics of deep coal-rock gas, with continuous efforts to improve reservoir penetration rates and increase per-well production. Efforts should be made to explore disruptive and pioneering integrated development modes to achieve the "Four Improvements" goals, i.e., enhancing quality, increasing production, accelerating operations, and optimizing efficiency. Ultimately, this will advance low-carbon, green development and support the achievement of carbon peaking and neutrality goals in China.

摘要: 中国能源禀赋结构以煤炭为主,全国埋深2 000 m以深的煤岩/煤层气资源量超过40.71×1012m3,深层煤岩气资源丰富,但深层煤岩气在地质方面与中、浅层煤层气差异显著,具有储层埋深大、游离气与吸附气并存、富割理等特点,对钻完井技术带来诸多挑战。近年来,中国石油天然气集团有限公司(中石油)在深层煤岩气钻完井工程技术方面采用系列关键核心技术,并对现场应用效果进行了系统分析。中石油深层煤岩气开发初步形成了深层煤岩气"水平井+大规模压裂"的主体开发模式,在深层煤岩气建井过程中面临基础理论研究薄弱、优质储层钻遇率低、一趟钻占比低、长水平段井壁失稳严重等系列问题。针对深层煤岩气规模化发展趋势提出建议:围绕现场实际生产需求,坚持地质—工程一体化为核心,强化基础理论研究,创新发展深层煤岩气优快水平井钻完井技术,着力打造适应深层煤岩气的工程技术与装备,持续提升储层钻遇率和单井产量,探索颠覆性与引领性融合开发模式,实现深层煤岩气提质、提产、提速、提效"四提"目标,最终推进低碳绿色发展,助力实现"双碳"目标。
