Expression of acted bias force from exterior pad of a modulated steering rotary drilling system on the hole wall

摘要: 对调制式旋转导向工具RCLD系统的导向力的形成机理进行了探讨.结果表明,RCLD系统的导向力的形成方式与第一代PowerDrive系统相比有其独特的优势,是一种更为合理的方式.当单个伸缩块在控制面作顺时针和逆时针摆动时,每次伸出对井壁施加的作用力均受到控制面摆动速度、高压阀孔圆心角、转盘转速的影响.给出了无约束条件下这些参数对作用力影响的计算模型和仿真结果.

Abstract: The forming mechanism of bias force of the RCLD system for the rotary steering drilling technology was investigated.The results show that RCLD system has the better properties than the first generation of PowerDrive system.It has a more reasonable way for providing bias force.The acting force on the hole wall produced from the swing of exterior pad in the RCLD system was affected by the swinging speed of control face,the center angle of hole on the high-pressure valve and the rotary speed,when the control face swings in the clockwise direction or anti-clockwise direction.The calculation model and simulation results of the influence of these parameters on the acting force under the non-restraint condition were given.The results will be of importance for the study and development of the rotary steering system.
