中国冈瓦纳的寒武系下伏沉积及其石油地质意义

The underlying deposition of Cambrian of Gondwana in China and its petroleum geological significance

前寒武纪是寒武纪之前的地质时期总称(4 000~543 Ma),不属于正式的地质年代单位,包括太古宙和元古宙。寒武系下伏指前寒武系地层最上部的一个系,深化认识其地质特征可以对古老含油气系统作进一步评估。在调研全球特别是印度中上元古界石油地质特征基础上,着重对中国冈瓦纳的寒武系下伏沉积及其石油地质意义进行了分析。指出多种技术可用于前寒武纪和寒武系下伏古地理重建和含油气系统的分析,这些技术包括太古代和元古代基性脉群地质年代测定技术和前寒武纪古生物群落和微体化石分析解释技术。3个关键要素对于发育有效的新元古代含油气系统十分重要:①从新元古代-寒武纪序列沉积以来的相对构造稳定性;②相对晚期的油气生成;③有效盖层的存在(典型的蒸发岩)。中国冈瓦纳的寒武系下伏沉积具有石油地质上良好的成藏条件,中国可以形成与印度盆地相似的上元古界-寒武系超级含油气系统和大油气区。

Abstract:

Pre-Cambrian is the general term of the geological age before Cambrian (4 000-543 Ma), and it is an informal geological age unit including Archaean and Proterozoic. The underlying Cambrian refers to the uppermost system of Pre-Cambrian strata, which is equivalent to Ediacaran in Australia and Sinian system in Southern China. Further evaluation of old hydrocarbon-bearing system can be made through a deep understanding of geological characteristics. On the basis of a global investigation especially on the petroleum geological characteristics of Neo-Mesoproterozoic strata in India, this paper focuses on the analysis of the underlying Cambrian sediments in Gondwana, China and the petroleum geological significance. Many techniques can be used for the reconstruction of Pre-Cambrian and the underlying Cambrian paleogeography and the analysis of petroleum system, including geological dating of basic dyke swarms in Archaean and Proterozoic as well as the analysis and interpretation of paleo-biocenose and microfossils in Pre-Cambrian. There are 3 key elements for developing effective Neoproterozoic petroleum system, i.e., the relative tectonic stability since NeoProterozoic-Cambrian deposition, the relative late hydrocarbon maturity and generation, and the existence of effective rocks (typical evaporite). The underlying Cambrian deposits in Gondwana, China have desirable reservoir-forming conditions, and can form super NeoProterozoic-Cambrian petroleum systems and large hydracarbon provinces which are similar to India Basin.
