Breakthrough and significance of shale oil exploration in Member 1 of Shahejie Formation of Well Qiye1H, a risk exploratory well in Bohai Bay Basin

摘要: 2021年完钻的风险探井歧页1H井实现了渤海湾盆地黄骅坳陷沙河街组一段(沙一段)页岩油重要勘探突破,可以为具有相似地质特征的页岩油勘探提供参考与借鉴。基于4口系统取心井的岩心、岩石薄片、测井资料以及烃源岩评价、X射线衍射全岩矿物分析等测试资料,系统总结了歧口凹陷沙一段页岩油形成与富集特征和配套关键工程技术。研究表明,歧口凹陷沙一段发育纹层状混合质页岩、纹层状云灰质页岩、纹层状长英质页岩、块状黏土质泥岩和块状碳酸盐岩5类岩相,其中,纹层状混合质页岩和纹层状云灰质页岩具有高有机质丰度(TOC含量平均为2.8 %)、高生烃潜量(S1+S2含量平均为21.8 mg/g)、富含颗石藻、高频纹层结构(纹层密度达24 000层/m)、层理缝异常发育、可动烃含量较高(>2.5 mg/g)等优越的地质特征,是沙一段最有利的页岩油富集岩相。综合岩相、含油性和工程可压性等,将歧页1H井水平段划分为3类富集层,其中I类富集层长度为364 m,气测值最高可达11.8 % 。优选海水基压裂液体系,采用二氧化碳前置和"逆混合+多级段塞+连续加砂"等关键压裂技术,有效解决了沙一段页岩黏土矿物含量高(>25 %)、塑性和水敏性均较强、页岩不易起裂等开发难题,为沙一段页岩油的勘探突破提供了关键技术保障。歧页1H井沙一段下亚段页岩油勘探突破,对渤海湾盆地乃至中国具较高黏土矿物含量的页岩油的勘探具有重要的借鉴和启示意义。

Abstract: Well Qiye1H, a risk exploratory well, which was completed in 2021, has achieved an important breakthrough in shale oil exploration in Member 1 of Shahejie Formation of Huanghua depression in Bohai Bay Basin, which can provide a reference for the shale oil exploration with similar geological characteristics. Based on the core, rock thin section, logging data, source rock evaluation, and X-ray diffraction whole-rock mineral analysis of 4 systematic coring wells, this paper systematically summarizes the formation and enrichment characteristics of shale oil in Member 1 of Shahejie Formation of Qikou sag and the matched key engineering technologies. The study shows that 5 lithofacies, namely laminar hybrid shale, laminar dolomitic shale, laminar felsic shale, massive clay mudstone and massive carbonate rock, are developed in Member 1 of Shahejie Formation of Qikou sag. Among them, laminar hybrid shale and laminar dolomitic shale have superior geological characteristics such as high organic matter abundance (the TOC content averages 2.8 % ), high hydrocarbon generation potential (the S1+S2 content averages 21.8 mg/g), abundant coccoliths, high-frequency laminated texture (the lamina density is up to 24 000 layers/m), abnormally developed bedding fractures, and high-content mobile hydrocarbon (>2.5 mg/g), which are the most favorable shale oil enriched lithofacies in Member 1 of Shahejie Formation. According to lithofacies, oiliness and engineering compressibility, the horizontal section of Well Qiye1H can be divided into three types of enrichment layers. The length of Type I enrichment layer is 364 m, and the maximum gas logging value is 11.8 % . By optimizing the seawater based fracturing fluid system, and using key fracturing technologies such as carbon dioxide pretreatment and "back mixing+multi-stage slug+continuous sand feeding", the development problems such as high clay mineral content (>25 % ), strong plasticity and water sensitivity, and difficult shale cracking in Member 1 of Shahejie Formation have been solved effectively, which provide key technical support for the breakthrough in shale oil exploration in Member 1 of Shahejie Formation. The breakthrough in shale oil exploration in the lower sub-member of Member 1 of Shahejie Formation in Well Qiye1H is of important reference value and significance for promoting the exploration of shale oil with high clay content in Bohai Bay Basin and even in China.
