全煤岩能源系统内涵、路径与发展

Abstract: Under the strategic guidance of "energy powerhouse" and "dual carbon goals",coal is transitioning from a fuel-centric system to a Whole Coal Energy System encompassing the synergistic properties of fuel,feedstock,and material. Grounded in the concept of "Integrated Whole-Energy System" combined with China’s coal-abundant resource endowment,this paper clarifies the connotation and strategic value of the Whole Coal Energy System. The results indicate that the Whole Coal Energy System consists of three major subsystems:coal-based primary energy,coal-derived energy,and coal-based new energy. Coal-based primary energy,derived from coal-bearing strata and associated layers and with coal and multi-layered coalbed methane as its core,serves functions of energy supply and security. Coal-derived energy is a secondary energy produced from coal (including both in-situ and above-ground conversion),advancing the transformation of fossil fuels to chemical energy carriers. Coal-based new energy refers to a functional material system that utilizes coal as a carbon/hydrogen source to form novel energy forms or energy carriers involved in energy storage,conversion,or transmission. The integrated advancement of three subsystems,combined with multi-energy integration including oil,gas,new energy sources,and other forms of energy,establishes a novel energy system that ensures energy security,environmental protection,and industrial upgrading. The formation and evolution of the Whole Coal Energy System represents a continuous process from deep-time carbon sequestration,modern conversion to future reengineering,embodying the coupling of the Earth’s carbon cycle and the engineered energy cycle. The realization and development of the Whole Coal Energy System should be grounded in coal-bearing primary energy,guided by the direction of new energy,balanced through energy storage,and empowered by new materials. This approach aims to promote low-carbon intelligence,systematic synergy,and continuous transformation,ultimately constructing a safe,efficient,intelligent,and low-carbon multi-energy synergy framework. It will provide strategic support for optimizing China’s energy structure and advancing the construction of an energy powerhouse.

摘要: 在"能源强国"和"双碳"目标战略引领下,煤炭正从燃料属性向燃料、原料和材料多属性协同的全煤岩能源系统转变。立足"全能源系统"理念,结合中国相对富煤的资源禀赋特征,明确了"全煤岩能源系统"的内涵与战略价值。研究结果表明,全煤岩能源系统包括煤系基础能源、煤炭转化能源和煤基新型能源三大子系统。煤系基础能源是来自含煤岩系及其关联层系的一次能源,核心是煤炭和多层煤系气,具有能源供给与安全保障功能;煤炭转化能源是以煤为原料(含原位与地面)生产的二次能源,实现了从化石燃料向化学储能的延伸;煤基新型能源是以煤为碳/氢源形成的新型能源形态或能源载体,参与能量储存、转换或传输的功能性材料体系。三大子系统交叉发展,与油气、新能源等多能融合,形成能源安全、环境保护与产业升级的新型能源体系。全煤岩能源系统的形成演化表现为"深时聚碳—现代转化—未来再造"的连续过程,是地球碳循环与工程能源循环的耦合。全煤岩能源系统的实现和发展应坚持以煤系基础能源为根基,以新能源引领方向,以储能调节平衡,以新材料赋能发展,推进低碳智能化、系统协同化和持续转型化,构建安全、高效、智能、低碳的多能协同格局,为中国能源结构优化和能源强国建设提供战略支撑。
