Communication of information from surface to downhole by sensors sensitive to the vibration of drill stem

摘要: 提出了一种新的传输方法,即利用一个动态加速度传感器代替2个压力传感器来感应地面泥浆泵的各种操作,进而通过解码得到地面下传的指令。根据测量方法,设计了下井仪器,进行了多个井次的室内和下井试验。试验得到的数据表明,井下传感器可以感应到地面泥浆泵的开关操作信息,从而使地面泥浆排量的编码信号传递到井下钻头附近。

Abstract: A new method for communication of information from surface to downhole by sensors sensitive to the vibration of the drill stem while steerable rotary drilling was proposed.One acceleration sensor is used to replace two pressure sensors at downhole.The acceleration sensor is sensitive to the operation of the surface pumps.A downhole instrument was manufactured according to the principle of this method.The data from laboratory and downhole tests show that the downhole sensor is sensitive to the operation of the surface mud pump.The validity of this method was approved by many oilfield experiments.
